Narrative

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A 44-year-old man went to the hospital Tuesday morning after a single-vehicle rollover along a busy San Antonio roadway.

The crash happened around 8 a.m. in the area of 4200 Roosevelt Avenue, which is at the south side of Stinson Park near 99th Street.

The investigation indicates that a southbound driver left the roadway after losing control of his vehicle. He then overcorrected, causing his vehicle to overturn multiple times. The force of the crash threw the driver from the vehicle.

Medics transported the driver to the hospital with non-critical injuries.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident with speculation that the driver may have fallen asleep or experienced a medical episode.
