Narrative
BEXAR COUNTY, TX — Firefighters had to rescue a woman early Friday after a rollover crash on Donella Drive in San Antonio’s North Side.
The accident occurred at the intersection with U.S. Highway 281, on February 24, shortly before 1:00 a.m.
Few details have been disclosed, but San Antonio Police said the woman was involved in a crash that caused her vehicle to overturn, leaving her pinned inside.
Fire crews performed a rescue extrication to safely remove the patient. She was later released to family members after authorities determined she was not intoxicated. It was unclear whether she was injured or taken to a hospital.
No other vehicles were impacted in the incident, and no charges have been reported.
