Narrative
TYLER, TX – A 39-year-old motorcyclist died last Friday in a collision involving two other vehicles at an intersection on the southwest outskirts of Tyler.
The incident occurred around 4 p.m. at the intersection of TX-155 and CR-196, which is just north of Smith County Justice of the Peace Courts.
The investigation indicates that a westbound 2007 Chrysler Sebring failed to yield right-of-way at a stop sign to a southbound 2003 Yamaha Motorcycle and struck the latter vehicle in the intersection. No other injuries were reported in the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
