Three killed in crash on Highway 6 in Waco

WACO, TX – Two people have died and a third suffered injuries after a three-vehicle crash on the Twin Bridges Saturday.

According to KCEN, the fatal accident took place on Highway 6 southbound on March 12th.

A Chevy Impala reportedly rear-ended a Kia Optima while crossing the bridge. Three occupants then exited their vehicles to inspect the damage. A Ford F-250 subsequently crashed into the stopped vehicles, killing two people.

The victims have been identified as 68-year-old Donna Makowski and 31-year-old Albert Hernandez Jr.

A third person was injured in the crash and has been hospitalized. Their identity and condition are unknown.

The fatal crash remains under investigation.
