WACO, TX – A woman was fatally struck by an SUV this Monday as she rode her bicycle on a rural road northwest of Waco, KWTX reports.
State troopers say that an SUV traveling south on FM 2490 struck a cyclist in the roadway at about 10 p.m. that night. Responders pronounced the cyclist dead at the scene. She has been identified as Sara Castillo, a 32-year-old Waco resident.
The Texas Department of Public Safety continues to investigate the situation.
