24-year-old woman dead after crashing into concrete beam in Port Arthur

PORT ARTHUR, TX – A 24-year-old woman died after crashing her vehicle into a concrete beam on State Highway 73 in Port Arthur early this morning, according to details from KFDM.

The collision happened in the 3600 block of SH-73 near Highway 69 at around 1:40 a.m., as 24-year-old Port Arthur woman Kaylie Broussard was driving a Honda eastbound on the highway. Her vehicle then went off the side of the roadway and crashed into a concrete support beam.

Broussard was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other vehicles or victims were reported in the crash.
