3 people injured in multi-vehicle crash on I-10 near Vidor

VIDOR, TX – Three people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on I-10 near Vidor on Wednesday, according to information from KJAS News.

The collision happened on I-10 west of Vidor at around 3:00 p.m., when 69-year-old Sour Lake resident Eugene Breaux swerved to avoid an object in the roadway.

He then crashed into a 2019 BMW SUV being driven by 72-year-old Buna resident Betty Nichols. The SUV then crashed into a semi-truck being driven by a man from Houston.

Three people, including Nichols and the truck driver, were taken to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.

Breaux was not hurt in the crash.
