Person injured in speed-related crash on I-10 in Vidor

VIDOR, TX – One person was injured in a speed-related crash on I-10 in Vidor on Sunday, according to information from the Texas Department of Transportation.

The crash occurred on I-10 near Concord Street at around 3:12 p.m., after the 58-year-old driver of a beige 2006 Chrysler failed to control the speed of his vehicle. The front end of his car then crashed into the rear of a black 2013 Ford.

The driver of the Ford, a 29-year-old man, sustained what are thought to be minor injuries.

The other driver and his two passengers were not reported as injured.
