VIDOR, TX – Two drivers were hospitalized following a wrong-way crash involving an 18-wheeler truck on I-10 in Orange County early Thursday morning, according to 12 News Now.
The crash happened on the westbound I-10 access road, near the Doty Road exit and east of FM 1132 Road at around 3:15 a.m., when a 26-year-old woman from Bridge City drove her 2021 Toyota SUV eastbound onto the westbound lanes. There, she collided with the left side of an eastbound 2019 Kenworth 18-wheeler truck being driven by a 32-year-old man from Houston.
Both drivers were taken to the hospital to receive treatment for undisclosed injuries.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash at this time.
