Two people injured in two-vehicle crash on SH-105 in Beaumont

BEAUMONT, TX – Two people were injured in a crash on State Highway 105 in Beaumont on Sunday night, according to information from the Texas Department of Transportation.

The crash occurred on SH-105, just west of Highway 287 at 8:39 p.m., when the driver of a black 2016 Buick failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign. The left-front quarter of the vehicle then collided with the front-right end of a white 2020 Chevrolet being driven by a 21-year-old woman from Florida.

The driver of the Chevrolet and her 22-year-old female passenger both suffered possible injuries in the crash.

The driver of the Buick was not reported as injured.

The second driver may also have been at fault in the crash, though this was not explained in detail.
