Woman and 2 children injured in rear-end crash on Prutzman Rd

BEAUMONT, TX – A woman and two children were injured in a speed-related crash on Prutzman Road in Beaumont last week, according to information from the Texas Department of Transportation.

The crash occurred at 6416 Prutzman Road near Calder Avenue at 5:45 a.m. Wednesday, after the 20-year-old driver of a gray 2011 Toyota failed to control the speed of his vehicle. He then crashed into the back of a gray 2021 Honda being driven by a 27-year-old woman.

The female driver and two juvenile passengers, a 5-year-old boy and a 7-year-old boy, sustained possible injuries in the crash.

The at-fault driver was not reported as injured.
