Man dead after falling out of moving vehicle driven by alleg. drunk driver

GALVESTON, TX – A man was killed after he fell out of a moving vehicle being driven by an allegedly drunk driver during what may have been a domestic dispute early Sunday morning in Galveston.

According to the Galveston County Daily News, the incident occurred at around 2 a.m. on Broadway Street near 77th Street, while 37-year-old Christine Hernandez was driving. Police believe some sort of dispute may have occurred, resulting in her passenger, 46-year-old Pleasanton man Lee Bosquez, falling out of the moving vehicle.

Bosquez died at the scene.

Hernandez was taken into police custody on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and for unlawful carrying of a weapon, one of which was found in the vehicle.

Authorities continue to investigate the accident at this time.
