TEXAS CITY, TX – A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash near FM 1765 Road in Texas City this weekend, according to information from the Galveston County Daily News.
The crash happened on Willis Circle, near FM 1765 Rd, on Sunday morning, when 43-year-old Derrick Ivey’s SUV went off the side of the road. The SUV then crashed into a grove of trees.
Ivey, a resident of Dickinson, was pronounced dead after the scene.
No other victims were reported in the collision.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
