Person critically injured after crash with 18-wheeler in Santa Fe

SANTA FE, TX – One person was severely injured after their vehicle collided with an 18-wheeler truck on FM 1764 in Santa Fe this weekend, according to the Galveston County Daily News.

The crash happened on eastbound FM 1764 near FM 646 on Saturday morning, when the driver of a pickup truck reportedly ran a red light. The vehicle then crashed into the trailer of an 18-wheeler truck.

The pickup’s driver was airlifted to the hospital with critical, life-threatening injuries.

No other injuries were immediately reported.
