DICKINSON, TX (GALVESTON COUNTY) – A teenage girl walking home from a Halloween party was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver in Dickinson early Monday morning, according to KTRK.

The crash occurred at about 12:30 a.m. Monday on Dickinson Avenue near 30th Street, as a 17-year-old girl, a senior a Dickinson High School, was walking home after attending a Halloween party. She was then struck by the driver of a dark-colored SUV.

The impact threw the teenager onto the side of the road. The driver then fled the scene.
