Woman injured in multi-vehicle crash on FM 1765 in Texas City

TEXAS CITY, TX – One person was injured in a multi-vehicle crash on FM 1765 Road in Texas City on Friday night, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.

The crash happened at 3102 FM 1765 when the 64-year-old driver of a green 1998 Lincoln failed to control the speed of his vehicle.

He then rear-ended a beige 2004 Nissan being driven by a 32-year-old man. The impact sent the Nissan into the back of a maroon 2020 Chevrolet being driven by a 50-year-old woman.

The driver of the Chevrolet sustained possible injuries in the crash.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.
