GALVESTON, TX – A woman was injured during a rollover collision with a suspected drunk driver in Galveston last weekend, according to information from the Texas Department of Transportation.
The crash happened on FM 3005 Road near Sea Butterfly Road at 1:58 a.m. Saturday, when the 20-year-old driver of a black 2011 Mazda was driving the wrong way on a one-way road. The driver was also reportedly under the influence.
He crashed into the right side of a red 2006 Honda being driven by a 40-year-old woman, causing her vehicle to overturn.
The female driver sustained what were suspected to be non-critical injuries in the accident.
The at-fault driver was not reported as injured.
