TEXAS CITY, TX – A woman was injured in a single-vehicle crash on Monticello Drive in Texas City this weekend, according to information from the Texas Department of Transportation.
The crash happened at 8280 Monticello Dr, west of N Lane Road and N Amburn Road at 9:19 a.m. Saturday, when the 64-year-old driver of a white 2016 Ford failed to maintain her attention on the roadway. The vehicle then crashed, sustaining damage to its front end.
The driver, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, sustained possible injuries in the accident.
No other vehicles were reportedly involved in the crash.
