1 dead, 1 injured after fiery crash on Gulf Bank Rd following disturbance

HOUSTON, TX – One person was killed and a second victim was severely injured in a collision on Gulf Bank Road today following a disturbance after a vehicle was allegedly stolen, according to KHOU.

The crash happened in the 300 block of W Gulf Bank Road near Airline Drive, following what authorities described as a “rolling disturbance” between people in two separate vehicles, one of which may have been stolen.

One of the drivers then crashed into a third vehicle, causing their own vehicle to catch fire.

Two people within that third vehicle were taken to the hospital after the crash. One of the victims was later pronounced dead, while the second was reportedly in severe, critical condition.

There is no word on the condition of the initial two drivers.
