1 dead, 4 injured after possible DWI crash on FM 1960 Rd

HOUSTON, TX – One person was killed and another four were injured after their car was struck by a suspected drunk driver on FM 1960 Road early this morning, according to KTRK.

The crash happened at the traffic light at FM 1960 and Eldridge Parkway at around 2 a.m. The driver of a pickup truck was allegedly speeding when he crashed into the rear of another vehicle stopped at the light.

One person inside the struck vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other two occupants of the same vehicle were taken to the hospital for the treatment of serious injuries.

The two occupants of the pickup truck were brought to the hospital in undisclosed condition.

The driver of the pickup truck is currently being tested for intoxicated driving and could face possible charges in connection with the fatal crash.
