WALLER COUNTY, TX – Four people were hospitalized after a group of bicyclists was struck by a vehicle in Waller County over the weekend, according to KTRK.
The crash happened on Highway 290 Business eastbound on Saturday morning as a group of six was cycling near the roadway. They were then struck by an unidentified driver.
Two of the victims were airlifted to the hospital in Houston.
Another two people were taken to the hospital in Waller.
The remaining two victims refused treatment at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation at this time.
