HOUSTON, TX – A man and a woman crossing the street were killed after being run over by the driver of a pickup truck in south Houston last night, according to KTRK.
The crash happened in the 9000 block of S Main Street near the 610 Loop at about 9 p.m., as a man and a woman were crossing the street.
They were then hit by the driver of a pickup truck. The driver remained at the scene and has reportedly cooperated with the investigation.
Both pedestrians were pronounced dead at the scene.
The female victim was identified as Jessica Hood, 49.
Authorities continue to investigate at this time.
