HOUSTON, TX – A man died after his car broke down and he was struck by passing drivers on the Sam Houston Parkway feeder road early yesterday morning, according to KTRK.
The crash happened on the eastbound service road near John Ralston Road and Wilson Road at around 5 a.m., when the driver, who was identified only as a man possibly in his 20s, may have crashed into a guardrail. His vehicle then came to a stop in one of the eastbound lanes of traffic.
The driver then got out of his vehicle, which was then struck by a secondary driver. A third driver crashed into the first person while he was outside of his car.
The man died at the scene.
Authorities shut down eastbound lanes of traffic as they investigated the scene.
