Man hurt in speed-related crash on Sam Houston Tollway near Tomball Pkwy

HOUSTON, TX – A man was injured in a speed-related crash on the Sam Houston Tollway on Monday afternoon, according to information from the Texas Department of Transportation.

The collision happened on N Sam Houston Parkway W near Tomball Parkway (Highway 249) at 4:25 p.m., after the 55-year-old driver of a green 2010 Infiniti failed to control the speed of her vehicle.

She then crashed into the back of a gray 2012 Toyota being driven by a 51-year-old man.

The driver of the Toyota sustained possible injuries in the accident.

The at-fault driver was not reported as injured.
