Motorcyclist killed in collision with alleged drunk driver in SE Houston

HOUSTON, TX – A motorcyclist was killed by an alleged drunk driver in southeast Houston on Saturday afternoon, according to KPRC 2.

The crash occurred near the intersection of Wald Street and S Shaver Street just before 4 p.m., when a motorcycle and a black Kia Soul collided at a stop sign.

The impact caused the motorcyclist to be ejected from his vehicle. The victim was taken to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.

The driver of the Soul, 35-year-old Christopher Lawrence Baulch, was reportedly impaired when the crash happened. He is facing a charge of driving while intoxicated as a result.
