One killed, one injured in three-vehicle crash

HOUSTON, TX – One person has died and another suffered serious injuries after a three-vehicle crash Saturday night.

According to HCSO, the fatal crash took place in the 19200 block of West Little York Road around 10:00 PM on March 12th.

A Range Rover was reportedly traveling eastbound on West Little York Road when the vehicle crossed over the centerline into the westbound lanes. The Range Rover subsequently collided head-on with a Honda HRV and overturned. A westbound Toyota Camry then sideswiped the Honda HRV.

The driver of the Range Rover died at the scene after being ejected from the vehicle.

The driver of the Honda suffered serious injuries but is currently in stable condition.

Authorities state that limited lighting around the roadway and excessive speed contributed to the fatal crash. The collision remains under investigation.
