HOUSTON, TX – A pedestrian was fatally struck by multiple vehicles on the Katy Freeway late Thursday night, according to KHOU.
The accident happened in the eastbound lanes of the freeway near Taylor Street at around 11:30 p.m., when a male pedestrian reportedly walked onto the roadway. He was then struck by multiple drivers who were unable to avoid colliding with him.
The victim, who was not immediately identified, was pronounced dead after the crash.
The drivers in the accident remained at the scene and are not thought to have been under the influence when the crash occurred.
The collision remains under investigation at this time.
