Pedestrian fatally struck by two drivers in early-morning crash on Gulf Fwy

HOUSTON, TX – A pedestrian is dead after being hit by two separate drivers on the Gulf Freeway early this morning, according to KHOU.

The crash occurred on the northbound freeway near Almeda Genoa Road at about 2:20 a.m., when a pedestrian who has yet to be publicly identified reportedly ran across the freeway.

The victim was then struck by two separate drivers and was pronounced dead after the crash.

All northbound lanes of traffic were closed for hours after the collision.

By 4:40 a.m., the freeway was reopened.
