HOUSTON, TX – A pedestrian was hit by a driver fleeing a police chase in southeast Houston yesterday, according to the Houston Police Department.
HPD commanders, investigators & PIO are responding to a crash at 8000 Jutland. Preliminary information is a fleeing suspect struck a pedestrian.

The crash happened in the 8000 block of Jutland Road, near Windemere Street and Myrtlewood Street, before 2 p.m.
A suspect fleeing a police chase reportedly crashed into a pedestrian.
It is unclear if either the driver or pedestrian was hurt in the crash.
The collision remains under investigation by multiple agencies.
