Two people killed in multi-vehicle crash on Bannister Ln

HOUSTON, TX – Two people were killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Bannister Lane on Monday night, according to information from KTRK.

The collision occurred in the 11600 block of Bannister Lane, near Little York Road, at 7:10 p.m., when the driver of a Dodge truck headed westbound lost control of their vehicle. They then went over the median and crashed into a Kia.

The impact sent the Kia into a tow truck that was hauling another vehicle.

A woman was ejected from the Dodge, and was then pronounced dead at the scene.

A second victim, the driver of the Kia, was also later pronounced dead.

Authorities continue to investigate the collision, which may have been at least partially caused by speed.
