Third victim dies of injuries after drag racing accident

KERRVILLE, TX – A third person has died from injuries suffered in a drag racing accident in Kerrville on Saturday, KRGV reports. 

The incident occurred at an organized event called “Airport Race Wars 2” with thousands of spectators. At the end of a race, one of the drivers lost control and crashed into a crowd of people.

Initially, two young children were killed and several others were injured. A third victim, a 46-year-old woman, recently died in the hospital.

Seven others, including the driver of the vehicle, were also injured. No information on their condition is currently available.
