AUSTIN, TX – At least one person was taken to the hospital following a crash on the Mopac Expressway last Friday, according to the Austin-Travis County EMS.

The accident happened on the ramp from Parmer Lane to the southbound N Mopac Expressway at 5:18 a.m. and involved multiple people.
At least one person was declared a trauma alert and was taken to the hospital in Round Rock.
Multiple other people were being evaluated for possible treatment and transport to the hospital.
While the cause of the accident was not immediately released, it is possible that icy roadways played a role.
