Narrative

AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian died Friday evening after a vehicle struck them at a busy intersection in east-central Austin.

The collision occurred just before 7 p.m. at the intersection of Airport Boulevard and Manor, which is just southwest of Mueller Lake Park.

Police say that the pedestrian died at the scene of the accident. Authorities haven’t yet released their identity to the public.

It’s not yet clear if the vehicle involved in the crash remained at the scene to render aid and speak with police.
