Three people, including deputy, hurt in multi-vehicle accident in Humble

HUMBLE, TX – Three people, including a Harris County Constable’s Deputy, were injured in a multi-vehicle collision in Humble last week, according to KHOU.

The accident happened in the 7700 block of FM 1960, near Lee Road, at about 8 p.m., when two officers performed a traffic stop. Two other vehicles collided nearby and struck the patrol vehicles.

One person was pinned within the wreckage of the crash. After being extricated, the victim was airlifted to Memorial Hermann Hospital for the treatment of critical wounds.

The second driver was taken to the hospital in The Woodlands with minor wounds.

One of the deputies also sustained minor injuries but was not transported to the hospital.

Authorities continue to investigate the crash at this time.
