TOMBALL, TX – One person died, and three people went to the hospital Thursday after a two-vehicle collision involving an 18-wheeler in northwest Harris County.
The incident occurred sometime before 7:10 a.m. on the northbound side of FM 2978 at Hufsmith Road, which is west of Burroughs Park.
The cause of the collision is still unclear. Police say that one person in the passenger vehicle sustained fatal injuries. Authorities have not yet released their identity to the public.
Three additional occupants from the passenger vehicle were hurt, though the extent of their injuries is unclear.
